Obituary for John Morris Mills

John Morris Mills 72 of Manchester died suddenly Wednesday morning at home. Born in Inwood, Long Island, NY he resided in Toms River for 12 years before moving to Manchester in 1972. He served in the Army during Vietnam as a sergeant from 1967-1970. He worked for over 40 years with Ozane Extermination in Toms River before retiring in 2010. He was a great outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. A great story teller and an avid NASCAR fan, he summered in Nova Scotia, Canada. Surviving are his wife Claudia of 53 years, daughter Joanna, son Justin and his wife Kathy of Toms River. Grandchildren Alexis and Justin Jr. Cremation is private and a Memorial gathering will be Saturday July 18, from 2-4 PM with memorial service at 3:30 PM. In lieu of flowers please make donations in his name to Wounded Warrior Project 370 7th Ave, New York, NYM 10001.
