Obituary for John P Kushner Jr.

John P Kushner Jr 84 of Manchester died Tuesday May 10, 2022 at Whiting Health Care, Manchester. Born in Drifton, PA he spent the last many years of his life happily in Manchester. He served in the Army during Korea in the Army Security Agency from 1957-1960. He was a manager of computer services for AT&T for 28 years. He was a Lifetime Member of the Cheesequake Volunteer Fire Company and also a Fire Commissioner for Fire District #2, Old Bridge 1977-1991. Lifetime Member of the Deborah Hospital Foundation, CERT-Community Emergency Response Team- Manchester and the Renaissance Emergency Management Committee Chairman. For 21 years he was involved with the Thomas E Edison Council Scouting Pack 67 & Troop 67. He is predeceased by his wife Dolores W in 1999 and Janice G in 2021 and 2 sons, John F Kushner in 1984 and Donald Kushner in 1992. Surviving is his sister, Joan Allen, son-in-law and dear friend Lawrence Seltzer. Visitation is Friday 8:30-9:30 am with a 10 AM Funeral Liturgy at St John’s Church, Lakehurst and interment to follow at St Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
