John E Feeley 87 of Manchester died Monday December 23, 2019 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Bronx, NY he resided in Brooklyn for most of his life before moving to Manchester in 2001. He served in the army during the Korean War and then worked for the NYC Transit Authority for 33 years before retiring in 1994. He enjoyed motorcycles and his radio-controlled planes and was extremely gifted with his woodwork and enjoyed making furniture. He is predeceased by his wife, Mildred in 2006, daughters, Joan Marie Feeley in 1973 and Ellen Feeley in 2016. Surviving are his children, John E Feeley & his wife Jennifer of Monmouth Beach and Ruthanne Feeley of Bath, PA, grandchildren, Anthony, Nicholas, Bryant, Alexandra and Sean and great grandchildren, Christian and Julia. Visitation is Sunday 1-5 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Monday 10 AM at St John’s Church, Lakehurst with entombment to follow at St Mary’s Cemetery, Lakewood.
