Joanne M. Benson 76 of Manchester died suddenly on May 4, 2020 at home. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she lived in Flanders for 17 years before moving to Manchester 15 years ago. She was employed as a Secretary with AT&T, Bedminster for 20 years before retiring in 2006. She loved Harry Potter books and movies, going to movies, her dog, Riley, and most of all, her seven grandchildren. She attended St Andrews Methodist Church, Toms River. She is predeceased by her husband, Arthur E. Benson, who died in 1991. Surviving is her son, Keith Benson & his wife Amanda, her daughter, Kimberly Libourel & her husband Jonathan, her brother, John Apollo, and 7 grandchildren, Kendall, Kaegan, Colin, Meghan, Vivienne, Landon, and Kenner. A private burial will take place at the Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge on Thursday at 1:00 pm. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
