Message to the Family: Growing up you always entertained the things I was interested in. Whether it be astronomy or a wildlife fascination you always catered to it. I remember receiving those thoughtful gifts like it was yesterday. As I got older and said a curse word in front of you would give a look and say “Ayye”, never getting angry, just would laugh and shake your head. You accepted all of us as we were, and that’s something our family should be thankful for. You would always ask how the boys were and I’ll never forget the conversation we had when you told me how strong I was and how you were proud of the person and mother I became. You would worry if we were okay. Every one of us. And now you can watch over us and know that we are and we will be okay. It’s incredibly sad but also comforting to know that we have you as our angel. Grandpa, I hope you know how much you were loved because I know how much you loved us. I will miss your cards. I’ll miss gigging at the cards that would come for Dyl, when you would add his middle name as James too. I’ll miss your birthdays with strawberry shortcake. I’ll miss you. ❤️
