Isaac Cerpa Jr 87 of Toms River died Monday October 10, 2022 at Hampton Ridge Healthcare and Rehabilitation, Toms River. Born March 4, 1935, in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico he lived in the Bronx and Yonkers before moving to Toms River 23 years ago. He worked as a bus driver for Manhattan and Bronx Surface Transit Operating Authority for 20 years before retiring in 1992. Isaac enjoyed dancing, gardening, going to the mall, being a homeowner, and spending time with family and friends. Surviving is his wife of 65 years, Iraida Cerpa, sons and daughter in laws, William & Regina Cerpa, Wilfred & Erin Cerpa, and David & Annie Cerpa, brother, Ismael Cerpa, sisters, Trinidad Ortiz, Lucy Monserate, and Delia Cerpa, and 9 grandchildren, Vincent, Lorraine, Rick, Megan, Michael, Matthew, Abby, Christopher and Dillon, and 4 great grandchildren, Emmett, Gianna, Cameron, and Joseph. Visitation is 11:30 am – 2:30 pm at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Road, Manchester with a 2:00 pm service. Entombment to follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
