Ingrid Pallitto 93 of Jackson died Thursday, February 13, 2020 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Stettin, Germany, she lived for many years in Newark before moving to Jackson 36 years ago. She was a parishioner of St Mary’s Church, Lakewood. She belonged to the German Club, and the Choir in the German-American Club. She was employed for 20 years at Hudson City Savings Bank, Newark as a Loan Officer before retiring in 1985. She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph M Pallitto, in 2018. Surviving is a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph J Pallitto & Elisa of Millstone Township, a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Halpern & Arnold of New York, and Jensen Beach, FL, 2 grandchildren, Miriam Bassi and Rachel Schaulewicz, and 2 great-grandchildren, Bella and Emma. Visitation is Sunday 1-5 pm at Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Road, Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Monday at 12 pm at St Mary’s Church, Lakewood with interment to follow at St Mary’s Cemetery, Lakewood.
