Hedy W. Erbeck, 92, of the Renaissance, Manchester died Friday, May 21, 2021 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Bayonne, she resided in Wood-Ridge and Rutherford before moving to Manchester 17 years ago. A theatre lover, she sang in the Renaissance Community Chorus and loved acting with the Renaissance Performing Arts Club. She also enjoyed playing Bocce. Hedy so often shared how much she loved people and always saw the goodness in everyone she’d meet. She is predeceased by a daughter, Lynn S. Erbeck, who died in 2016 and by her twin grandsons, Bryan and Derrik Marchesani. Surviving are her daughter and son in law, Jill and Dennis Marchesani, and her 2 grandchildren, Alexander and Victoria Marchesani. A memorial gathering will be offered on Tuesday, May 25, from 3-5 pm at Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Road, Manchester with a funeral service at 4:30 pm. Cremation is private. Interment of her cremated remains will take place on Thursday, May 27 at 1:00 pm at the Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
