Gregory C Pilisz, 67, of Bayville, died suddenly at home. Born in Paterson, he resided in Toms River for 5 years before moving to Bayville 5 years ago. He was a maintenance worker at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft for 9 years before retiring in 1990. His passion was fly fishing. He was a great cook and enjoyed sports. He played football in college and enjoyed baseball. He was predeceased by his wife many years ago. Surviving are his soulmate for over 30 years, Peggy Ann Saunders; her children: Charles Saunders, Robert Saunders & his wife, Laverne, and Michelle Lawson & her husband, Lance; and 5 grandchildren: Makayla, Romeo, Sophia, Jayvon, & Mackenzie. Memorial Gathering is Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 6-8 PM with a 7:30 PM service at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway RD Manchester.
