Obituary for Gail R Cramer

Gail Cramer was born January 26, 1947 and grew up in Long Branch NJ with her very large, close knit extended family. Gail moved to Manchester NJ in 1976 and raised her children as a hardworking, single mother. She lived amongst neighbors who became lifelong friends and was always there to lend a helping hand and offer a kind word to everyone she met. Gail was a dog lover, poet, artist, inventor and avid puzzler who loved the online games in POGO. Gail enjoyed strolling around Lake Horicon with her walking stick in hand and her family by her side. She could be found on playground with her grandchildren or riding roller coasters at the amusement park. Gail was a fighter and survivor. She won many battles against breast cancer, skin cancer and lung cancer over the past 20 years of her life. In spite of these hardships Gail was quick to laugh and was a lover of life. She can be found in the smiles of her children and grandchildren and will live forever in their hearts. She is predeceased by her parents, Samuel and Elizabeth Patten and siblings, John Patten, Maureen Swoope and Mary Ann Farro. Surviving relatives are her son Tom Cramer and daughter in law, Heather and her daughter Tara Cramer. Her four loving grandchildren, Ava, Mya, Tommy and Hayden whom she adored and was lovingly named GG (Grandma Gail). Her three remaining sisters, Patricia Sirianni, Bet Rubino, Sharon Echeverria and brother-in-law Robert along with many loving cousins, nieces and nephews grieve the loss of this wonderful woman. Visitation is Friday 4-8 PM with a 7 PM service at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Road, Manchester. Cremation is private. Donations may be made in Gail’s memory to ASPCA PO Box 96929 Washington, DC 20077.
