Obituary for Frank Poulillo

Frank Poulillo, 89, of Toms River died Saturday April 1, 2023 at the Complete Care Arbors in Manchester. Born in Jersey City, he resided most of his life in Howell before moving briefly to Galloway, Egg Harbor Twp and then Toms River for the past 2 years. He worked for Western Electric/AT&T in Kearny for 42 years before retiring in 1991. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He enjoyed sports, especially basketball, which he played in his youth for Dickinson High School. A very friendly and social man, Frank enjoyed social activities like poker, bingo and visiting casinos. He was a religious, family man and liked walking the various boardwalks, watching classic movies especially, Because You're Mine which included Mario Alonzo’s version of The Our Father prayer. He loved good Italian food, cannolis, chianti wine and good music. He is predeceased by his wives, Ann E. Poulillo in 1984, Henrietta Poulillo in 1991 and Joan Poulillo in 2012, daughter, Regina M. Poulillo, granddaughter, Stephanie L. Poulillo and daughter-in-law Denise A. Poulillo. Surviving are his children, Francis J. Poulillo Sr. and wife Brenda L., Richard P. Poulillo Sr. and wife Karen, Maria Poulillo Gordon, Sherri Brennan, Charles Zimmerman and David Zimmerman, 8 grandchildren, Katherine (Alexander), Amanda (Darren), Danielle (Brandon), Ryan, Richard Jr., Francis Jr., Lauren, Jonathan and 4 great grandchildren, Bryce, Brayden, Evan and Cameron. Visitation is Thursday April 13, 2023 4-8 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Friday April 14, 2023 10 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, Toms River with interment to follow at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood.
