Frank Lancellotti, 84 of Manchester passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 6, 2020. Born in Jersey City, he resided in Brick for 37 years. With no formal training, Frank fought in the 1954 Golden Gloves, treasuring his time in the ring. Frank honorably served as a Medic in the Army National Guard for 6 years. He retired as the Vice President of Pinnacle Insulation in Edison after 35 years. As an active community member in Brick, he served on the Board of Adjustments and belonged to both the Elks Lodge and the Italian-American Club.
Frank thoroughly enjoyed all outdoor activities including being at the beach, fishing, boating and golfing. For the last 21 years Frank’s winters were spent in Estero, Florida on the golf course and bocce court. Frank was loved by many and recognized as the outstanding man he was. Able to light up any room with his smile and sense of humor, his story-telling and joke delivery will be remembered by all.
Frank’s greatest legacy is his unconditional love for his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. As a devoted family man he is predeceased by his father, John Lancellotti, his mother, Angelina Lancellotti and his sister, Theresa DeGeorge. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Frances DeFelice Lancellotti, a brother, Vincent Lancellotti, a sister, Marie Meola, a son, Frank Lancellotti Jr & his wife, Dana, a daughter, Elaine Mac Phee & her husband, Chris, many nieces and nephews, 4 grandchildren, Morgan & her husband, Derek, Christopher, Laura, John & his girlfriend, Haley and 3 great-grandchildren, Kayla, Luke & Matthew. In addition to family, Frank leaves behind countless, meaningful lifelong friendships from New Jersey to Florida. Frank even viewed and loved his children’s friends as his own.
A private cremation will take place, and memorial services will be scheduled for a later date.
