Frank J. D’Amato, 73, of Manchester, died Wednesday, November 11, 2020 after a brief illness. Born in Newark he was a graduate of East Side High School in Newark, New Jersey and has lived in Lyndhurst, New Jersey; Whitehouse Station, New Jersey; and Doylestown, Pennsylvania; before moving to Manchester in 2006. He was a lifetime worker in the garment industry and was a former student of Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. He was also a trainer in standardbred horse racing, and loved Freehold Raceway. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carol L. D’Amato; son, Richard M. D’Amato; sister, Roseann Heyl; and granddaughter, Ava M. D’Amato. Visitation and cremation are private.
