Elizabeth Marie Josephine Scoleri (Conguisti) 89 of Manchester passed Tuesday January 28, 2020 at Robert-Wood Johnson University Medical Center, New Brunswick. Born in Harlem, NY she resided in Englewood for 36 years before moving to Manchester 21 years ago. With her beloved husband Carmine, she owned Lombardo Ravioli in Fairview for 30 years. She was a member of the Renaissance Italian American and The Bronx clubs. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and traveling with her husband Carmine. She is predeceased by her husband Carmine in 2016 and survived by her sisters-in-law, Stella Palumbo & Mary Congiusti. She was the matriarch for both the Scoleri & Congiusti families. Surviving are her daughter Rosemary Scoleri-Russo of Somerset, son Frank Scoleri & his wife Bella of Sugarland, TX, and 2 grandchildren, Victoria Elizabeth and Frank Jr. Also surviving are many nieces & nephews, great nieces & great nephews and great-great nieces & great-great nephews. Visitation is Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Tuesday 11 AM at St John’s Church, Lakehurst with interment to follow at Brigadier Gen Wm C Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.
