Obituary for Elizabeth "Bette" A. Dziepak

Elizabeth “Bette” Dziepak 99 of Toms River entered into eternal rest in the morning of Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Hampton Ridge Health Care, Toms River. Born in Perth Amboy she resided in Perth Amboy, then Parlin, prior to moving to Peoria AZ, where she spent almost 30 years, making new friends and enjoying the beautiful Arizona sunsets, and the warm weather. She returned to New Jersey in 2008 with her best friend and husband of 66 years and resided in Toms River to be close to their daughter. She worked as a Bookkeeper for over 35 years and retired in 2000. She was a past president for the VFW Women’s Auxiliary and the American legion in AZ. She enjoyed dancing, traveling, crocheting, listening to music, and most of all laughing, and having fun. She was very patriotic and loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed by many. She is predeceased by her husband Theodore in 2009. Surviving are her daughter, Ann Louise Dziepak, of Toms River, son William & his wife Nina, of Greensburg, Ky, grandchildren Teddy and Adele and great granddaughter, Sage and many nieces and nephews. Memorial gathering is Thursday, August 20 from 1 – 4pm, with a service at 3:30pm. Memorial Mass will take place at St Peter’s Church, Perth Amboy with inurnment at St Peter’s Church Cemetery, Perth Amboy on September 9, 2020 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the V.F.W. Due to state guidelines with regard to the virus, please wear a mask within the funeral home and please respect social distancing.
