Dennis Buoye 70 of Lakewood died suddenly at home on Sunday June 7, 2020. Born in Orange he resided in Hillside for 35 years before moving to Lakewood 8 years ago. He served in the Navy during Vietnam from 1968 to 1972. He was a Seabee in the reserves for 20 years. He worked for Barnabas Health in Livingston in the engineering department for 21 years before retiring in 2008. He enjoyed restoring old cars, playing drums with his former band First Impressions, collecting Lionel Model trains and spending time with his family and friends. Surviving are his wife of 25 years, Cynthia, sons, Christopher and his wife Raven Buoye and Matthew Buoye, brothers John, Michael, Robert, James, Timothy and the late Richard Buoye, sisters Suzanne Paul, Diane Chadwick and Joann Anderson and 2 grandchildren, Samantha & Corbin. Visitation is Wednesday 6-8 PM. Cremation is private. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St Jude place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the charity of your choice.
