Delvado A Skyers 91 of Toms River died Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at home. Born in Fellowship Hall, Jamacia he resided in Toms River since 1970. He was the supervisor for maintenance & grounds, an auto mechanic, bus driver and the Union Shop Steward at Leisure Knoll for 40 years before retiring in 2013. A member of the Trinity Bike Club of Ocean County. He is predeceased by his wife Lola Madge Skyers (2018), & son, Walter Skyers (1994) & grandsons, David Allan Skyers & Anthony Skyers & sisters Joyce & Pearl. Surviving siblings are Claudette, Brown, & Tilly & surviving sons, Ludlow Skyers, Anthony Skyers, Gregory Skyers, daughters, Ann Marie Rivera, Heather Skyers, Rhonda Hunter & husband Richard, 9 grandchildren, Nicolette, Deven, Kayla, Juan, Matthew, Allia, Jordyn, Josiah & Lenox Great Grand Children Malaya & Julia. Visitation is Friday 3-7 pm at Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Rd, Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is 10 AM at Church of Grace and Peace, Toms River with interment to follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
