Charles J Ballou III 74 of Lakewood died Tuesday March 24, 2020 at home. Born in New Brunswick he was raised in PT Pleasant Beach where he attended and graduated from Antrim Elementary School and Pt Pleasant Beach High School and resided before moving to Lakewood 6 years ago. He owned and operated Charles Ballou Construction for 30 years before retiring in 2006. He also bartended for the VFW Post # 4715 in Pt Pleasant Beach. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed the beach and ocean. He loved spending time with his family and friends and especially his grandchildren. Surviving are his son, Ryan C Ballou of Howell, daughters, Catrina R Nowrey of Wilmington, DE and Micha Ballou of Howell, sister, Diane Cucci and 2 grandchildren Ramona and Cody Nowrey.
