Carol S. Tamarana 80 of Whiting died Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center, New Brunswick. Born in Newark, she lived in Rahway and North Brunswick before moving to Whiting in 2004. She was a member of St John Vianney Catholic Church, Colonia. She was a 1960 Graduate of Rahway High School. In addition to her parents, Blair and Marie Benson, Carol is predeceased by her husband, Maurice who died in 1996, and a son John Blair Stevens, who died in 2002. Surviving are two sons, Mark of Freehold and Scott of Jackson. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren, Hunter and Scott Mitchell. A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, May 13, at 12 noon at St Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia (Woodbridge).
