We will miss you so much, Uncle Bruce. There are so many wonderful memories from all our family gatherings. I’ll always remember when you and Aunt Patty helped my parents move me into UNH my freshman year (on your way to visit Denise in Boston). I always enjoyed our conversations and listening to your interesting and funny stories. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Rest In Peace. Love, Marianne, Tim, and Claire Pruiett

Dear Patty and Family, When I think of Bruce, a smile comes to my face! I am happy to have many good memories of Bruce over the five decades that I have known him. First of all, he loved his wife and family very much as well as his friends and acquaintances. He was a great conversationalist and truly interested in whoever he was speaking to. He passionately loved sports...watching in person or on TV and also golfing and jogging. I am blessed to have known such a wonderful person! Rest in peace, Bruce Monica and Ralph

Jason Bajor
Dear Uncle Bruce, Every time the Bajors would visit you, Aunt Patty, Denise, and Edward in Linden, I could always count on the following: hearing you discuss sports, politics, the current state of affairs, or a book you just read...and it was always interesting to hear whatever you had to say. It was always a lively and informative discussion, and everyone listened when you spoke, because you had both a commanding voice and you were passionate about the subject. I will greatly miss those times. I'm sorry that we can't say goodbye in person at this time. We are thinking about you. Rest in peace. Love, Jason + Patrick

As Bruce's nephew, from an early age I was in awe of his Airborne Screaming Eagles tattoo, vaguely aware of the elite status it conferred. I had imagined my uncle as a Badass. As I grew into adulthood, Bruce continued to never disappoint. He too was afflicted with the Howe Curiosity Trait: The tendency to parachute (see what I did there) into the latest hobby or intellectual subject du jour with an obsessive nature. Which meant, every holiday he would have something new to expound upon at length and hold court. Always interesting. And always interested, geniunely, in the lives of those around him. Uncle Bruce, Rest in Peace.
