Arlene (Yvette) Gauff of Manchester passed away Sunday January 26th,2020. Yvette was a graduate of Jackson Memorial High School. She worked at Labcorp of America for many years. She is predeceased by her parents Horace and Hazel (Smith) Mondy Jr. Two brothers Horace Mondy III and Tracy Scott Mondy.
Surviving are her children, Adrian Maurice Frazier and (Wife) Stephanie Jones-Frazier. Alexandria Michelle Mondy, Amier Marcel Gauff. Her grandchildren Erykah Jones, Kamryn Jones, Ja’Sia Cadaya, and Adrian Frazier. Three sisters Kathleen M. Mondy, Shirelle K. Mondy and Farrah I. Mondy- Miller. Her nieces and nephews Taji Moore, Gabrielle Mondy, Marcus Mondy, Jarad Mondy, Ja’mier McLeod, Jaden Miller. Special sister- brother cousins, aunts, uncles and many many friends.
Yvette, our queen, mother, friend and matriarch has received her call. Her love and passion for people, music, cooking, and family will forever be missed. Yvette always had open arms lending a helping hand, an open heart. And many times opening up her home.
The life of every event, she could start the party and dance the night away. The perfect hostess the best chef, A friend for life and the ideal. One of her favorite hobbies was cleaning as she had the most immaculate home. Yvette’s first and last priority was her family. Starting at an early age she instilled the importance of family tradition and unity. All of these values are what makes our bond thrive. Yvette should know that she was absolutely amazing. Her heart was warm, her smile was contagious and her strength was relentless.
