Obituary for Antonio Ferraro

Antonio Ferraro, 89, of Leisure Knoll section of Manchester, died Saturday, February 6, 2021 at home. Born in Paolisi, Italy, he moved to the United States in 1965 residing in North Jersey before moving to Manchester in 1995. He graduated from the Instituo Statae D’Arte in Napoli, Italy and after World War 2, spent several years working in Venezuela. He had worked as an art painter for 30 years for Gannett Outdoor Billboards & Signs. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Painters and Allied Trades – Local Union #1231, Newark; he loved many forms of art and was a great fan of St. Padre Pio. Antonio was predeceased by his wife, Maria Ferraro, in 2008. He is survived by his wife, Mariya Brady; brother, Vito; sisters: Felicetta & her husband, Carmine, and Anna Maria; niece, Teresa; nephews: Carlo & Gabe; and many nephews & nieces in Italy. Funeral Liturgy is Tuesday, 10am at St John Church, 619 Chestnut Street, Lakehurst, NJ 08733. Entombment will follow to St Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood.
