Ana Rosa Ramirez, 67, of Browns Mills, NJ, died Monday, May 25,2020, at Deborah Heart and Lung Hospital, after a month long battle from contracting Covid-19.

Ana was born on May 25,1953 in Utuado, Puerto Rico. She moved to the United States to Long Island, NY and relocated to Lakewood, NJ, where she lived for over 30 years, before moving to Browns Mills, NJ, 4 years ago.

Ana was always a hard worker and a business woman. She worked for years before successfully becoming the owner of 2 restaurants and making her dream of opening Diva’s Beauty Salon, which started in Lakewood, NJ and ultimately moved to Brick, NJ, for which she was the owner to for almost 20 yrs.

Ana is predeceased by her parents, Juana Gonzales and Mariano Rodriguez, and her beloved sister, Aracelis Rodriguez. She is survived by her husband, Benjamin, her children, Jose, Francisco, Jacqueline and son-in-law, Omar, Charles and David, her 4 sisters, Luz Miriam, María Ester, Carmen Judith and Iris, her grandchildren, whom she loved more than life, Amerie, Christian, Nathan, Mariela Sabrina, Azaria Sierra and Mariano Sebastian and many nieces, nephews and cousins, which whom she was close with.

Ana was full of life and energy. She had a love for music, exercising, shopping, going to church and just spending quality time with her family. Her smile and laugh were infectious and she just enjoyed life to the fullest. She was such an asset to her community and helped everyone she knew, always putting others before herself. She left a lasting impression on everyone she came across and will be missed by so many.

Visitation will be at Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Rd. Manchester, NJ on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 from 11 am to 1 pm, with prayer service at 12:30 pm. Due to the pandemic, anyone who will attend must come with a mask, as per funeral home regulations. Ana will be laid to rest in a private family ceremony at St. Mary’s of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood.
