Abdon Nieto, 53, of Lakewood, died Friday, April 24, 2020 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. Born in San Esteban Zoapiltepec, Mexico, he had resided in Freehold before moving to Lakewood 18 years ago. He was a cook at Federici’s in Freehold for about 30 years. He enjoyed sports, soccer, basketball, & Eagles football; and loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Aurora Morales Sanchez; sons: Jimmy Nieto, Alonso Nieto, & Brian Nieto; daughter, Vanesa Nieto & husband, Francisco Peña; parents, Juan & Petra Nieto; many brothers & sisters; and his grandchildren: Francisco & Adrian Peña Nieto.
