Beloved wife of Patrick T. O’Connor and wonderful mother. Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Patrick T., 3 daughters & son-in-laws, Cheryl & David Bell of Seattle WA, Carole & Dan Carrion of Phoenix, AZ and Erin & Kyle Velders of Chiefland, FL, brother, Salvatore (Bobby) Mennella of Nesconset, NY, sister, Carole Mennella of FL, 5 grandchildren, Amanda, DJ, Benji, Sage & Kyle, 3 great grandchildren, Zane, Isebelle, & Talula. She worked as a quality Control Inspector for American Vitamin, Lakewood for 16 years before retiring in 1988. Born in New York City, she resided in Lakewood for 28 years before moving to Leisure Village West section of Manchester 10 years ago. A communicant of St Mary of the Lake Church, Lakewood she also was a cantor and choir member. She loved music and played the piano for local nursing homes and taught many relatives how to dance. As president of the Lakewood PTA, in 1976 she implemented the reading programs benefiting many students. Funeral Liturgy is Friday, Noon at St Mary of the Lake Church, Lakewood, NJ 08701, with private cremation to follow.
