Caroline T Cagnini 82 of Manchester died Sunday February 27, 2022 at Ocean University Medical Center, Brick. She was born, raised and resided most of her life in Brooklyn before moving to The Renaissance community in Manchester 20 years ago. She worked for Verizon in Brooklyn for 30 years. She was a great cook and loved to entertain and feed her family and friends. She enjoyed going to Atlantic City to play the slots, go to the comedy shows and out to dinner. She was a member of the Renaissance Brooklyn Club, Staten Island Club, Italian American Club and the Women’s Club and enjoyed watching her husband Joe perform at the PAC. She is predeceased by her parents, Paul & Elvira Izzo, brothers, Gennaro & Nicholas Izzo and David LaFrance. Surviving is her husband of 63 years, Joseph, son, Peter G Cagnini & his wife Mary, daughters, Paula Pezza & her husband Louis and Rosalie Cagnini, brothers, Anthony & John Izzo and sister, Nancy Dragotta and 6 grandchildren, Joseph & wife Anna Cagnini, Carolanne Cagnini, Nicole & husband Steven Lopez, Paul Pezza, Giancarlo Rodriguez, and Sofia Rodriguez and 3 great grandchildren, Cesario, Liana and Leonardo. Visitation is Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home 292 Ridgeway Rd Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Thursday 10 AM at St John’s Church, Lakehurst with entombment to follow at Monmouth Memorial Park, Marlboro.
