For the past 27 years the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore have been honoring men and women who make a difference in our community each day at the annual award reception. | On Monday, December 12th, Oliverie Funeral Home held their Third Annual Holiday Remembrance Program for those who have lost a loved one this year. Our Holiday Remembrance Program is a special service we offer to commemorate loved ones during the holiday season. The holidays can be a particularly difficult time to cope with the loss of a loved one and our Holiday Remembrance Program provided a tribute in which families came together to express their grief and also found peace. Families in attendance at our Holiday Remembrance Program were presented with, a glass Butterfly ornament personalized with name and dates of their loved one. This ornament can be hung on a Christmas tree or displayed in commemoration of their loved one for years to come.
